Policy Details

  • Provides access to our nationwide skilled contractor network and emergency helpline.
  • Provides cover for the callout, labour and parts to alleviate the immediate emergency.
  • For events that occur at home, we will advise on the action required to protect yourself and your home. We will send one of our approved engineers and arrange an appointment for an approved engineer to visit your home.
  • We will organise and pay the cost of providing the assistance up to the claim limit inclusive of VAT.

Our Home Emergency insurance is there to give you peace of mind in the event of an emergency at your home. Although we want to help you as much as we can during difficulties such as Home Emergencies, we cannot cover all problems which occur. Please see the key policy exclusions below.

  • Any claims within the first 30 days of cover, from inception date in the first year of cover.
  • Any claims which exceed the claims limit.
  • General maintenance and wear or tear.
  • Circumstances known to you prior to the commencement date of your policy.
  • Claims arising after the Home has been left unoccupied.
  • Repairs and servicing (where applicable) on systems where spare parts are no longer available.
